Lianne Hannaway, CPA is the Founder & CEO of wealthnuvo, a digital wealth building platform that offers ambitious women the tools to learn financial competency, to grow her money confidently, and empower her to financial wellness. With wealthnuvo CFO, she also provides virtual CFO and accounting services to women entrepreneurs and business owners.

 

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Lianne had a career as a finance executive improving business growth by transforming transaction-based accounting teams to data-driven value-added finance partners. Lianne’s portfolio includes leadership roles at the Toronto Stock Exchange, Shorcan Brokers, KPMG in Canada and in France and the Black Professionals in Tech Network.

 

Lianne was recently appointed to the Board of The Equality Fund, a groundbreaking collaboration that supports women’s rights organizations and feminist movements globally with a backing of $300 million from the Canadian government. She is also a Board Member of Hey Bryan Media [CSE:HEY], a peer-to-peer marketplace app connecting independent contractors to consumers for everyday home maintenance needs.

 

Lianne also holds a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation, a Bachelor of Mathematics and a Masters of Accounting both from the University of Waterloo.
